Professor Suiqing Liu teaches and researches in Municipal Engineering, Water resource management and optimization techniques. While holding an academic appointment at Tongji University, he also assumed from time to time various administrative positions, including School Dean, Dean of UNEP-Tongji IESD, Deputy Director of the National Research Center of Urban Pollution Control (Tongji University). He currently serves as Deputy Director of Environment Program of Yangtze River Association of Technology and Economics and Fellow of Water Industry Branch of China Civil Engineering Association. His academic expertise and interests include optimization of water distribution systems, GIS applications in water and wastewater engineering, software development in water systems, environmental hydraulics and water resource conservation and management.
