BArchNZ MArch MSc PhDUNSWJoined UNSW in 1986 as Senior Research Assistant. Since then has been directly involved in funded research projects in excess of $2.2m and has undertaken a large number of research and consultancies through Unisearch. Prior to joining UNSW worked as an architect for 5 1/2 years.

Recent Awards: 1991 Australian National Energy Innovation Award (outstanding achievement in research & development category); DPIE. 1994 ACI/RAIA Scholar on Energy Efficiency in Commercial Buildings - RAIA. Other Affiliations: Australia New Zealand Solar Energy Society President 1994-96. Director, Asia Pacific Office of the International Solar Energy Society. Director of Sustainable Energy Industries Council of Australia.

Recent Committees: UNSW Energy Research Development & Information Centre, National Fenestration Rating Council (USA): Solar Heat.
