Mr. Christian J Hegemer

Mister Christian Johann Hegemer SH was born on September the 6th, 1948 in Weilheim, Bavaria, Germany. He graduated his Law and Administration Studies in Munich in 1969 and worked there in various civil service offices such as the “Regional Board” (Regierungspräsidium), the State Ministry of the Interior, the Bavarian State Chancellery and the Office of the Federal State Prime Minister until the end of the year 1981. Simultaneously Mr. Hegemer was a Lecturer at the Bavarian Civil Servants Professional School (Bayerische Beamtenfachhochschule) and the Bavarian Administrative School (Bayerische Verwaltungsschule). In 1982 he became Head of the Office of the Party-Chairman Dr.h.c. Franz Josef Strauss in CSU- Headquarter in Munich and maintained this position under the new Chairman Dr. Waigel till July 1989. Mr. Hegemer then moved to Nairobi as the Regional Representative of Hanns Seidel Foundation and lived there for 7 years until August 1996 when he was assigned to the Position of Director of HSF in Indonesia, Jakarta.
