Scientific research achievements
August 2002: Present In charge of the research and manufacturing of Surmount No.1 Fuel cell Sedan sample car which passed the sectional check by the Science and Technology Ministry.  The properties complied in full with the designed indexes.  The achievement was a breakthrough in China’s fuel cell sedan industry.

2002: The 863 Plan key special project-electric automobile project was one of the 12 national key scientific and technological special projects during the 10th five-year decided by the science and technology leading group of the State Council.         In charge of the development of the concept car -- Chunhui No. 1 four-wheel driving fuel cell mini-sedan which won Innovative Award at Shanghai International Industry Exhibition. Other key scientific and technological projects in charge included: “Research on Critical Technologies for Fuel Cell Electric Automobiles”, “R&D of Fuel Cell Electric Sedans”.

January 2001: After returning to China on invitation, following the submission of the strategic proposal of “Regarding Development of Automobile New Clean Energy as the Starting Line for Leap- Forward of China’s Automobile Industry ” to the Ministry of Science and Technology in September 2000, was in charge of special projects of electric automobiles under the 863 Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology, including: “Pre-technological research for electric automobiles”, “Virtual matching development for fuel cell automobiles”, “China Platform Plan”, “Resources investigation and development strategy for clean energy automobile development within the framework of global resources”, and the American Energy Foundation project “Strategic and policy research on development of clean energy automobile in Shanghai”, etc.  In the end of the same year, first phase research of the fuel cell sedan project passed the check and examination of the Ministry of Science and Technology with outstanding results.

1991-2000: During the 11 years’ work in Audi, in charge of the completion of 15 critical technical research projects with respect to whole car development, body design and manufacturing, digitalized production engineering and so on.  All the achievements were adopted by the Corporation, among which, 7 engineering development projects had been industrialized already. In charge of the compiling of two technical specification documents for German Volkswagen ; Developed advanced production technology and equipment such as “Laser checking and testing and intelligence control system for body welding joints”, “3-D Laser checking and testing system configured to robots and its applications”, “Intelligence controlled plain body surface quality checking and testing system”, “Digital image checking system on the completion of  engine assembly”, “Information-oriented global body production quality checking”; as well as involved in and was in charge of the constructions of the body paint workshop (investment of 500 million Deuche Mark) and the body production line (investment of 700 million Deuche Mark).
