Training on State of the Environment Reporting and Database Management
As part of Capacity Building for State of the Environment Reporting in the Asia-Pacific region, UNEP RRC-AP conducts training courses on State of the Environment Reporting and on Database Management for SoE Reporting. The SoE Reporting training focuses on the development of SoE reporting systems, including development of databases, identification of data and linkages, and report preparation. The database management training is more specific, concentrating on the set-up and operation of a database for environmental data.
Training duration is between 2 and 3 weeks. The two week courses are intended for managers and decision makers, giving them a background on how to manage the SoE Reporting System. The three week course is intended for database managers, statistical officers and those who will carry out the actual data analysis and report writing.
