The Trend button on the main menu allows the user to analysis and study the trend of selected indicator/parameter in the database. On selection the Trend button displays the following Trend window.

The Trend window allows the user to compare the indicator/parameter between countries or the time series analysis for a country.

In the Trend window user can analysis the time series trend in a preferred indicator/parameter through the following steps

1. Variable combo box displays the variables that are included in the selected dataset. Choose the preferred variable by clicking on it.
2. Combo box in the country page frame displays the list of ALGAS countries. Choose the desired country by clicking on it.
3. Chart will be displayed in the chart area of the Trend window. User can choose preferred grid lines to display with the chart from available grid line options.
4. 3D Bar, 2D Bar, 3D Pie, 2D Pie, Polar, Line, Log/Lin, and Area are the available chart types. User can choose the desired chart type by clicking on it from the available chart type options.
