Zinaida Fadeeva was a member of the expert group of Greening of Industry Network on industrial restructuring of Chelyabinsk region (Western Siberia, Russia), with responsibility for the tourism sector in October 2002. She conducted scientific supervision of the regional audit for sustainable tourism on the island of Lesvos, Greece, in May 2002.

Zinaida Fadeeva took part in NEST – Network Evolution for Sustainable Tourism, a project for development of sustainable tourism networks in Scandinavian countries, funded by Nordic Industrial Fund, in 2001 –2003. She assessed the environmental strategy for the Sahara Salt Lake City with the focus of the tourism component, India, in February 2001. In addition, she was a participant of ‘Challenging Diversity’ –an analysis of environmental labels for the tourism sector in Scandinavia. Research funded by Nordic Industrial Fund, in 2000.
