Prof. Peng is the Directors of The World Bank Studies Center and US-China Business Development Center of Tongji University, Fellow of ARIES, Harvard University, Senior Advisor of Shanghai Foreign Investment Board, Shanghai Municipal Government, Vice President of Shanghai International Studies Association, and Consultant of Shanghai Investment Consulting Corporation.
He also assumed in the past various administrative positions, including Dean of the College of International Economics and Management, Shanghai Tiedao University, Consultant of The World Bank, Director of World Bank Training Courses of Project Management for Senior Officials of PRC in Washington D.C. and China from 1981 to 1997 sponsored by the Economic Development Institute of the World Bank, Visiting Professor of University of British Columbia, Canada, Visiting Professor of Charles Sturt University, Australia, Senior Adviser of Schroders Group, plc. UK ,
Director of China Transportation and Communication Association, and Advisor of China International Engineering Consulting Corp., State Planning Commission of the State Council, Beijing. His research interests include International Economics, Business and Investment in China, Project Management, Investment Banking Business and Economics of Transportation.
