TAN Ying
Vice Mayor, Suzhou City, China 
Ms. Tan Ying, born in 1969, an engineer, is now the mayor in Suzhou city, Jiangsu province. She graduated from Northeast University in 1991, and worked in planning and designing management department in Construction Committee, Suzhou where she served as the director in 1997. And then became the deputy-secretary-general of Suzhou municipal government in 1998. After 2000, she was the director of Panning Department in Suzhou until 2003, when she served as vice mayor for Suzhou city. In January 2008, she was elected as the vice mayor of Suzhou municipal government on the 14th People’s Congress of Suzhou. |
