Muttucumaru Sivakumar was instrumental in commencing the environmental engineering research program at UOW in the early 90’s, work for the Faculty of Engineering ,the innovator of the Biofly brick process and has published widely (over 150 publications) in diversified research areas including water quality modelling and treatment, bubbleless aeration using membranes, mine water quality processes, onsite waste treatment and recycling, electrocoagulation, contaminant transport modelling, biohydrogenation and flow in river junctions, University of Wollongong.
