Project Manager, Climate Bridge Ltd.
Ling Li is currently a project manager at Climate Bridge Ltd., a Shanghai-based international company that committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the global carbon market. She is enthusiastic about using project-based market mechanisms to help curb climate change and has been developing projects that would lead to the increase of renewable energy use and energy efficiency across China. Prior to joining the Climate Bridge, Ling worked as a China Fellow at Worldwatch Institute, a Washington DC-based international environmental think tank, analyzing and reporting on China’s emerging environmental and energy issues. Her research topics included China’s renewable energy use, drinking water safety, and paper recycling industry, as well as worldwide bottled water consumption.
Ling has gained a strong interest in exploring the relationship between human society and the natural system since college. She was selected as one of the Bayer Youth Environmental Envoys in China for her contribution to the environmental protection as a student. Ling holds a masters in environmental management from Duke University in the U.S. and a college degree in environmental engineering from Donghua University in Shanghai. As an art and nature lover, Ling enjoys classical music, traveling, and life foods.
