Visa
Passport and visa
A valid passport and visa for visiting China are required. Once you are accepted to the Leadership Programme, you will be sent an official invitation letter. With this letter, you can apply for an entry visa at the Chinese Embassy or the nearest consulate general. More information is available on website. Insurance
Participants are requested to make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance for the duration the Leadership Programme. Neither UNEP nor Tongji University will be responsible for any health related issues and insurance. Health
Pneumonia and influenza are common, although there is a limited risk -- according to the government -- of hepatitis A and B, typhoid, polio, malaria, tuberculosis, dengue fever, tetanus and rabies particularly in rural areas. In areas where dengue or malaria is found, use mosquito nets or bug spray and wear clothing that covers your entire body. Consider taking anti-malarial pills.
