The Find push button in the edit window facilitate the user to select a portion of the dataset and the selected records could be edited, printed, or exported to a file. When the user press the Find button the following Search window will be displayed on the Edit window.

Do the following steps to select all records for India, for example

1. Select the Field name "COUNTRY" from the Fields list box
2. Select "equals" from the Operator list box
3. Enter the country name (India) in the Value edit box.
4. Press the search button to select the required records.

Do the following steps to select the records for the years 1990 to 1995

1. Select the Field name "YEAR" from the Fields list box
2. Select "between" from the Operator list box
3. Enter the years (1990,1995) in the Value edit box.
4. Press the search button to select the required records
